Bio
I am the Associate Dean and a Professor of leadership and public service at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service. On the research side of things I work on grant-funded and contracted research in the domains of public health, education, and social services, for the most part. I also teach introductory and advanced data analytics/visualization in our Master of Public Administration (MPA) programs (in all three formats the MPA is offered in), and have taught undergraduate and graduate statistics courses for Plant Biology, Economics, and Communication Studies. I tinker a lot with R and Julia (while keeping tabs on Python), learning these languages’ magic in the context of real-world problems I am curious about.
If you are interested in earning a Master of Public Administration degree in one-year, with a full tuition scholarship and a full nine-month tuition stipend (currently over $14,000), please email me after you review the program details available here.
